Ireland 2019

Students’ statements after our one week study trip to Ireland from 23 June to 30 June 2019. 20 students with their teachers Ms Schmidt and Mr Kestler spent one night in Dublin and had a fantastic week in Kilfinane, Limerick, the partner county of Hohenlohekreis.

“The Irish people were very welcoming and friendly […]”

The sport activities have been a good compensation to the lessons in the morning, which have been interesting and informative.

“We visited Dublin, the capitol of Ireland with the beautiful Temple Bar District and Trinity College. Moreover, we did a lot of sport activities such as kayaking, hiking, horse riding and archery, which was a lot of fun.”

“We also visited other cities like Limerick or Killarney.”

“We had a great time in Ireland and found new friends.”

My personal highlights were the capital Dublin and our trip to the Cliffs of Moher.

“Be careful if you drive with an Irishman in a car, because they like to drive fast, badly and love to turn on the air conditioning very cold.”

“[…]it was a very funny and exciting time and it would be great to visit Ireland once again.”

“All in all, it was perhaps the best study trip I have ever had.”
